Description

These wrenches are designed to fit Rearden muzzle devices:

  • 13/16″ for Muzzle Device flats
  • 1/4″ Thick to fit in the thinnest of places

They also include a 3/8″ drive cutout for use with an appropriate torque wrench.

They are made of 17-4PH Stainless and heat treated to H900.

To install your muzzle device, apply Rocksett and torque to approximately 15-25 ft lbs. Make sure the muzzle device is square against the shoulder. When setting the silencer on the muzzle device, ensure that the threads and tapers are clean.

This wrench is not recommended for untorquing muzzle devices or breaking Rocksett. Wrench is not designed to exceed 25 ft lbs. Improper use can lead to slipping off flats and damaging your threads. Too must torque can disfigure the wrench.

*Always use an alignment rod to ensure that the entire system is set up correctly. Make sure all surfaces are cleaned thoroughly and the muzzle device has been Rocksett to the barrel.*

Two things: 1) it slipped off my Rearden flash hider = no bueno, and 2) it uses a 3/8 driver; anyone with any decent tools will have a 1/2-inch torque wrench. I have spent at least 1k with Rearden, swapping all of my guns to their muzzle devices. They are all beyond awesome, and I recommend them every day. This “Muzzle Device Wrench” is not worth your time or money. Go get a solid crow’s foot and a real torque wrench.

This is designed for fitting into super tight spaces, it will never beat a thick crows foot.

We put a 3/8″ drive on purpose so people weren’t trying to exceed the torque rating on the device using larger torque wrenches.

Use this if you have to, and don’t use it to break rockset either. It’s a niche tool, not a thick commercial grade tool.

  2. NC

Anyone with a decent tool set will have a 3/8” torque wrench. 1/2” torque wrenches are for 50ftlbs and up. Rearden devices only need a maximum of 35ftlbs. And that’s pushing it. 25 to 30ftlbs are optimal.
